Division 02 – Reverse Engineering

No Drawing, No Supplier Your Part Rebuilt

We recreate obsolete and imported parts through 3D scanning, engineering analysis and validated manufacturing – so equipment keeps running long after the original supplier is gone.

Send a Part for Assessment No drawing needed – we work from the part
The Challenge

The Drawings Are Lost The Part Still Has to Run

The supplier is discontinued, the drawings are gone, and the component still has to keep running. Helix recreates it from the part itself – scanned, modelled, analysed and manufactured to a validated design.

Obsolete or Discontinued

The Dead-End Route

  1. A critical part wears out or fails
  2. No drawing on file
  3. Supplier discontinued or not responding
  4. Search for an equivalent part
  5. Replace the whole assembly

Costly replacement of equipment that still works

Rebuilt by Helix

The Helix Route

  1. Worn or failed part as the sample
  2. 3D scanned and measured
  3. CAD model and drawings created
  4. Manufactured and verified

A working part – and the drawings to make it again

Have an obsolete part? Send it to us
  • Reduced OEM Dependency

Parts you can source locally instead of relying on a single overseas manufacturer.

  • Extended Asset Life

Older and imported equipment kept in service when original spares no longer exist.

  • Failure Modes Engineered Out

Root-cause analysis means the new part is built to last longer than the one it replaces.

Core Capabilities

From Physical Part to Proven Design

Digital scanning, engineering analysis and product development under one roof – so the part we return is understood, documented and improved.

01

Digital Engineering

Laser and structured-light scanning captures the part exactly as it is – then becomes a clean CAD model and manufacturing drawings you own.

  • 3D laser scanning
  • Structured-light scanning
  • CAD modelling
  • CAD/CAM
  • Manufacturing drawings

Reverse Engineering

Obsolete, discontinued and imported components recreated from a worn or broken sample – dimensionally faithful and ready to install.

  • Component replication
  • Obsolete-parts recreation
  • Imported-equipment localization
Replace an obsolete part
03

Engineering Analysis

We find out why the part failed before we make another one – so the replacement solves the problem instead of repeating it.

  • Failure analysis
  • Root-cause analysis
  • Metallurgical investigation
  • Tolerance analysis
  • FEA
Investigate a failure
04

Product Development

OEM-equivalent replacement parts and custom components – designed, validated and value-engineered for local manufacture.

  • OEM replacement parts
  • Custom components
  • Design validation
  • Value engineering

How It Works

From Worn Part to New Part in Five Steps

Every rebuild follows the same disciplined path – so the part you get back fits first time, and you can order it again without starting over.

  1. 01

    Assess the Part

We review the sample, its function, operating conditions and how it failed.

  2. 02

    3D Scan & Measure

Laser and structured-light scanning captures every surface and critical dimension.

  3. 03

    CAD Model & Drawings

The scan becomes a clean 3D model and manufacturing drawings with tolerances.

  4. 04

    Analyse & Improve

Root-cause, metallurgical and tolerance analysis – the failure mode is designed out.

  5. 05

    Manufacture & Verify

CNC machined in Dammam and CMM-checked against the validated model.

What you receive More Than a Copy of the Part
